Marketing Triumphs from BD, Allergan and Others

At the recent eyeforpharma Philadelphia event, the organization presented its annual awards in four categories. As an addendum to our Marketing Innovation panel, as examples of successful marketing campaigns, here are the winners. Our congratulations to all of them.

Most Valuable HCP Initiative:

BD Vascular Access Management (VAM)

Intravenous catheterization is the most common invasive procedure, but up to half of IVs fail, largely due to preventive complications. BD Vascular Access Management is a program designed to help hospitals drastically reduce those complications. It includes rigorous clinical practice assessments, best practices, and help in implementing its recommendations. VAM has delivered a 32% reduction in complications and a 37% improvement in first-stick success.
