Mike has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 27 years. He began his career at Merck & Co. in manufacturing and then transitioned into product safety where he assumed increasing responsibilities for review and analysis of product safety issues. In 2003 he joined Centocor Inc to manage adverse event reporting to FDA and Health Canada. In his current role in Janssen Scientific Affairs (JSA) he oversees commercial vendor compliance for product compliant reporting. He served as a member of the JSA Diversity and Inclusion Council and is currently a member of the JSA Culture initiative. Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson, providing medicines for an array of health concerns in several therapeutic areas, including: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), general medicine (acid reflux disease, infectious diseases), mental health (bipolar I disorder, schizophrenia), neurologics (Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, migraine prevention and treatment), pain management, and women’s health. It has produced and marketed many first-in-class prescription medications.

As an executive in the pharmaceutical industry, he led and was associated with innovative launches to address unmet medical needs in Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, metastatic breast cancer and obesity. His aim is to change lives by enhancing leadership energy, engagement, and fulfillment, and demonstrating how these qualities can cascade throughout organizations.

Linda believes that human resource representatives should serve as a beacon of support and encouragement in the workplace. Linda joined AbelsonTaylor 11 years ago to build and establish a comprehensive HR infrastructure aligned with the business goals of the agency. She has discussed her approach to transformational HR in speaking engagements, media interviews and bylined articles. Prior to joining AbelsonTaylor, she spent seven years in the legal arena, worked as a healthcare recruiter and employee relations specialist for a multi-hospital system, and was co-owner of her own executive recruiting firm. AbelsonTaylor is the largest independent medical advertising agency in the world, serving pharmaceutical, biotech and health-and-wellness companies globally. Gloria Sinclair Miller has more than 15 years of senior human resources leadership In the pharmaceutical, retail and financial services industries. In her current role, she oversees the development and execution of diversity and inclusion strategies, as well as driving the implementation of the division’s People Strategy. Previously she was the Senior HR Business Partner for the U.S. AZ-BMS Diabetes Alliance, driving the alignment of business strategy and human capital management in this unique joint diabetes venture. She has also held HR management roles in the Information Technology/Enterprise Services division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Regional HR Management positions with Borders Group, Inc. Ms. Sinclair Miller has assumed multiple leadership roles with the national and local chapters of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and has been a champion in efforts to support military service members and veterans in their transition to the civilian workforce. AstraZeneca is a global, science-led biopharmaceutical business, one of only a handful of companies to span the entire life-cycle of a medicine, from research and development to manufacturing and supply.
